I have been a graphic designer for 15+ years and a web designer for 5+ years. I have designed a lot of logos, letterhead, direct mail pieces, as well as website designs, website revisions, email blasts and social network posts and also large designs including bus sides, billboards and large signs and banners.
I use Photoshop for editing photos, Illustrator for designing logos because since it is a vector format you can resize it to any size and not lose quality. I use InDesign for projects with mutiple pages, like books or magazines. All three of these programs are available on both Macs and PCs.
"Diane Martin has outstanding customer service skills and truly remarkable design skills! I love my site again, thanks to the update she made. I hope I have the chance to work with her again!" —April Smith
"Absolutely amazing! Better than I imagined and in a much shorter time frame than I requested. Thank You Thank You!" —Marc B.
"Diane was great to work with. She was proficient, she understood what I needed. She was also quick with the revisions. She even worked on the weekend to help us meet our deadline. I'd use Diane again and you should consider her for your project. She's GOOD!" —Shawn W.
I answered the phone and helped handicapped customers by taking reservations for their upcoming First Transit rides.

In 2016, I worked for Arc Greater Twin Cities and just when I started my manager gave me this project. It was very exciting for me to see this ad on the number 6 bus line. I enjoy seeing my artwork out live like that.

The Minnesota 911 Tribute honors life-saving professionals who were the "stand-up" hero's of the 9-11 New York terrorist attack, and they also honor our Minnesota First Responders on this day, each year. It was a privelige for me to design this new website. You can see it here
At St. Vincent de Paul they care about homeless people including children. They want to give homeless children everything that normal children experience. This project was a direct mail piece requesting donations to help send homeless children to Summer Camp. I helped direct the photo session and my son's toys are in the photo.
I attended Stevens-Henager College online and received my Bachelors Degree in Design. While attending, they had a contest to design the graduation program and my design won. They gave me a $50 Walmart gift card.
Midwest Beef Producer is a key source of production information for the commercial beef industry in the upper Midwestern states. This website is still under construction. It has a video of the cows grazing on the home page. You can see it here.
I won first place for designing this Mother's Day card for Mrs. Fields Cookies. This was a fun project. I received a $300 gift certificate.
This was a fun project to work on because The Anoka History Center asked me to combine the images of the American Flag, happy soldiers and planes flying in the sky. They also wanted a lot of copy but I managed to make it all fit without it looking too crowded.
The Normals Band is a Canadian 80's cover band. My passions are designing and music and when I can combine the two, as I did for designing this website, it's great fun. You can see this website here
Kauai is nicknamed the Garden State. It has the Waimea Canyon which is more breathtaking than the Grand Canyon because it is all green with grass and trees and you can see the ocean in the distance. Kauai is my favorite island. I have visited there three times. This flyer was fun to design.
